Update 9/8/09: Essence has been adopted!

Essie has a special place in my heart. Many, many years ago, I had hoped to have her mother come to spend the rest of her life with Bob and me, but fate was not kind and the beautiful red Taffy died after giving birth to her last litter.

I promised myself that if I ever found any of her offspring, I would do everything I could to find them that perfect home. Last year Taffy's son Isaac came to Grey Haven and found that one in a million home in Houston with the Burpdog lady!!!

It was another wonderful friend, Pam Davis, who found us Isaac and again found Essence, Isaac's littermate and another of Taffy's "kids."

Essie deserves the best. She is through having puppies and would love a couch of her own. She likes the other dogs, not sure about cats, but most of all she loves people!!!
