I'd like you to meet a friend of Greyhound Adoptions of Florida. His name is Winslow and he's a retired racer.

Winslow

In January of 2007, Winslow lost a leg to osteosarcoma. After surgery and chemotherapy, he regained his health and lives his life to the fullest. Winslow will have been cancer free for two years on February 7, 2009!

Winslow paints, swims weekly, goes to the beach and raises money for his favorite charities, Greyhound Angel Network and Greyhound Health and Wellness Program at Ohio State University.

Winslow is this month's featured on the Greyhoundgang Web site!

He received this lovely gift from Diane Jackson of Burpdog Biscuits.

I am truly amazed with Winslow, he's gorgeous and that smile is to die for. You have a talented boy there who seems to be revelling in the attention and fun. That he is cancer free for two years is amazing and unusual. I love his artwork. You are all so lucky to have each other, it's working for all of you. I will keep returning to check up on Winslow and will send this email to my greyhound friends.
