Mandy is a very special 11 year old who has lost her only home through no fault of her own. Her "mom" passed away and left Mandy homeless. After coming to Grey Haven and going into a very special foster home, Mandy is hoping to have another home of her very own for Christmas. She is a very healthy, active girl. She loves to run and play and looks for humans to be close to. Mandy enjoys the company of all sorts of dogs and likes her daily walks and treats. She only has about three teeth left in her mouth but you can see by her pictures that she never misses a meal.

This is a lovely girl who deserves a very special family.

Marilyn - Don't forget to let me know if Mandy doesn't find a home. You know I don't want her languishing around after losing what she thought was her forever home!! You may recall that I asked you about her on the phone. You had mentioned that one never knows about an older dog being adopted. May I assume that she is small-dog tested? You also mention that she likes the company of other dogs. Do you think she would be fine with just me and Cleo (and not knowing how long Cleo would be around, she might end up with just me)?

Hello! I am looking to adopt a greyhound for my seven ande three year old boys. I am not sure if I want to go through the puppy stage though we are home during thte day. I am worried about my boys being bitten by an older dog, so the fact that she has three teeth is great for me, LOL !!! I think she is adorable. Does she have good house manners, and is she trained to go the bathroom outside? I have no other animals in the house, and she will be the only animal. My number is (813) 957-1117. Well, all.....I met Mandy and she is a darling. In fact, she has found her forever home with me and my 14-year-old miniature dachshund as of Wednesday, December 21. (I wanted her "home" for Christmas.)

So, both Mandy and I got a wonderful Christmas gift - each other!

Breaking news! Mandy went home with her new family yesterday and will celebrate the holidays with her "mom" & sister, a 14-year-old miniature daschund named Cleo. Merry Christmas Mandy & every good wish for the New Year and beyond.
