Dodgem is a very, very nice guy! He got along well with all the dogs and loved when visitors came to the kennel. He has great manners and really loves his "person." Scooter never went to the track ... actually he never got off the farm where he was born. He is ecstatic that a wonderful family has fallen in love with him and taken him home so that he can continue to learn what it's like to be a big, grownup greyhound living with a family.

Della had no desire to chase the lure and decided to take an early retirement! During her stay at Grey Haven, Della was sponsored by Cynthia Adkins. Della is a happy, happy girl now that she has a home of her own. This greyhound is definitely loving her new life!

Dark brindle female
This lovely dark brindle girl is a ten year brood who does not look or act her age! She is a love ... plays nicely with the other girls and loves meal time! She is excited to meet all the visitors and would be thrilled to find a family of her own. While she likes all the other dogs she's met, she will not be good with cats.

Lightfoot (aka Syd) - Recently adopted!

This handsome brindle boy will be seven years old in October. He waited patiently on a farm for someone to fall in love with him and take him home. Now that has happened and Lightfoot has been adopted! He even has a new name: Syd! He gets along well with other dogs and is always looking for his human.

Biden is almost 5 1/2 and is a delightful greyhound. This is a gentle boy who likes to play with the others but if the guys get too rough, he prefers to just walk away. Ivan is a two and a half year-old greyhound who suffered a badly broken leg. He had surgery to fix his severely broken and dislocated hock in mid-December, 2009. Ivan healed after surgery and he's now in his adoptive home. Ivan was sponsored by Kaye Fellows, Skye and The Schmidt greyhounds. Roo!

Yes, we have two girls called Zoey! This Zoey is happily living in a foster home here in Florida. She is doing beautifully as an only dog. Her house manners are perfect though she would prefer to not ever see a crate again!! She broke her leg racing a few years ago and it was never set properly. She has a slight limp but this does NOT hinder her activity level at all! She is smart, outgoing and loves all people!!

Rose had orthopedic surgery to repair tendon damage in a rear leg. She healed well and is as sweet as they come. Rose has a very laid back demeanor and now that her recovery is complete she has found that perfect home.

Dream is a bit shy when you first meet her but will warm up quickly if you are kind and gentle with her. She does best with other dogs and may be happier in a group than as an only dog.

This little brindle girl is a full sister to Alex Fuller who lives in Florida and the daughter of Miz Abbey who lives up in the High Springs area! She is a little wary of new situations but now has someone to show her a lot of love and that the world is a wonderful place for greyhounds.
Bug
Brindle female born May 2005
In spring 2008, Dancing Bug broke her leg on a track in Birmingham, Alabama. She came down to Grey Haven to recover. Two surgeries were required to repair her badly broken leg. But she persevered through it all and Bug is now living with her new family in Tennessee.
Isaac
Red male, born February 1999
Isaac is a retired stud dog who has finally found that special home. He is gentle and kind and loves people. He has had surgery to remove corns on each of his feet and is running and playing just fine in his new home.
